To those of you who read (or are in the middle of reading) the electronic version of GAME OF HEARTS, as well as those who read it for the first time in paperback, I just wanted to say hi -- and thanks!

If you were intrigued by the e-book's description or sample chapter, but are still hooked on paper and can’t find the paperback, I'll have a CONTEST soon for some copies  I squirreled away for a rainy day.

I wrote a post a few weeks ago about the origins of this story, but I don’t think I mentioned how much the ending made me cry.  I usually avoid the Hallmark effect – in movies and books, and especially in my own stories. For example, if a movie review uses the word “heartwarming” – well, that’s the kiss of death. But the sappy part of GAME OF HEARTS just snuck up on me somehow. I won’t do it again, I promise.

As for the publication dates for rest of the books in the HEA series, here’s the rundown:

CARRIED AWAY: 3/20/2012 (this was the most popular of the five books, if fan email is any indication)

MEANT TO BE: 6/19/2012 (my favorite hero paired with Russell Braddock’s daughter)

NIGHT AFTER NIGHT: 9/01/2012 (my attempt at gothic-lite)

FOOL ME TWICE: 12/18/2012 (because Jack just had to get hitched too! HEA owed him, after what they did to him in CARRIED AWAY, right?)

Thanks for stopping by,

p.s. I have yet another e-book coming out this Spring, and then the paperback anthology of the FEVER novellas (called DEEP SPACE FEVER) in August. I’ll post more info as we get closer. The Spring book is a Young Adult science-fiction story, and I’m so excited about it, I can barely keep myself from posting the whole book right here on the blog today. Crazy what love will do….

p.p.s. I am having so much trouble with the formatting on livejournal these days! Ugh, please bear with me until I can figure out what I'm doing wrong.
